Kayane is fan-girl in the Metro Division District who is an NPC in No Straight Roads.

Appearance

Her skin is a very bright rosy-orange hue that matches the pink brush strokes on her shirt. She also has medium length straight brown hair with dip dyed light brown ends and purple nail polish.

She wears a black kimono styled shirt dress with loose sleeves, purple accents and abstract circle designs that mimic brush strokes. Underneath she seemingly wears jeans paired with knee-high black heeled boots and long teardrop white earrings.

Personality

She's a very cheery character constantly waving and making clear signs to get your attention in order to talk to her so she could promote 1010.

She is not pleased with May and Zuke after they defeat 1010. About a moment later after Eve's defeat. Kayane brings up her realization about Neon J.'s true charm, which she then makes a fanclub for.

Relationships

Bunk Bed Junction

Upon meeting Bunk Bed Junction for the first time, Kayane avidly promotes 1010. After B2J crashes 1010's concert, she tells them that she was stanning the wrong group the whole time, and begins to gush about Neon J. She comes off as annoyed with B2J with every other interaction, frequently telling them to leave her alone.

1010 & Neon J.

She starts out as a hardcore 1010 fan when first talked to, but after defeating 1010 she converts to being a Neon J. fan and creating a fanclub exclusive for him. She still seems to have a love for 1010 however, as she is seen kissing a poster of the band's leader in the end credits.

Trivia

• She is the second character to be voiced by their real-world counterpart. The first is Joey and the third is Amal the Unicorn.
• Kayane is the second character to be mentioned by the official game, as well as the first non-playable character to make an appearance in promotional trailers.
  • She is also the 19th non-playable character to be in the #StarsofVinylCity event.
• As of her sprite art, Kayane mimics Sayu's fingers-on-head heart pose. It's speculated that she is also a fan of Sayu, despite of being an uber 1010 fan.
