Appearance

Remi has orange skin, short brown hair (with a cowlick matching Sayu's), and small, closed eyes. His outfit consists of a red and black flannel shirt, blue jeans, and large square glasses. He is the shortest of the Sayu team.

Personality

Like his friends, Remi is an introvert who is afraid of showing his talent as himself and not as Sayu. He seems to be the leader of the group and is seen giving his team orders, in a stern way. He has had a lot of artistic talent even before being Sayu's designer.

Gameplay

Remi is Sayu's artistic designer, making him essential to her appearance. When fighting Sayu, he is represented by the paintbrush icon, which is protected by the others' icons. Breaking the paintbrush always triggers Sayu's phase changes.

Relationships

Tila, Sofa and Dodo

Remi is the leader of the people behind Sayu, who he seems to live with (seeing as their studio contains 4 beds when going out of bounds). He has known Tila the longest, having met her online because she used his art for a cover of a song. The four are often seen goofing off and playing video games together, and have a good sense of teamwork and respect for each other.

Sayu

Sayu isn't technically Remi's creation, because she previously appeared in Doki Doki Mermaid Club. But he is very protective of her because she is how he expresses his creative side. The more he gets frustrated, the more Sayu's appearance becomes exaggerated.

Mayday and Zuke

Remi does not like B2J at first, being the first to attack and order the others to do the same. Most of Sayu's anger seems to be his, as he is the most frustrated in the situation. When Mayday and Zuke break in the studio, he is afraid of them until Mayday gets down to their level and explains to them how they should be more aware of what is at play here.
